Kathleen Edmond, J.D., of Edina, Minn., was appointed to the AARP Foundation Board of Directors in 2010. Edmond serves on the Development Committee for the AARP Foundation. She is currently chief ethics officer at Best Buy. Edmond is a member of the Conference Board Global Council of Business Conduct and is a founding member of Best Buy's Corporate Responsibility Governance Committee and Enterprise Risk Management Council. Prior to starting employment with Best Buy in 2002, she held faculty positions at the William Mitchell College of Law and the University of St. Thomas.
Edmond currently serves as a board member on the Penumbra Theatre board of directors in St. Paul, Minn. Formerly, she served on the board of overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award and as a cabinet member of the AARP Foundation Women's Leadership Circle.
