Kathleen Edmond

AARP Foundation board member

Kathleen Edmond, J.D., of Edina, Minn., was appointed to the AARP Foundation Board of Directors in 2010. She is currently a partner at Robins Kaplan LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Minneapolis, leading the firm’s corporate compliance and business ethics practice. Prior to starting employment with Robins Kaplan LLP, Edmond was the Chief Ethics Officer for a Fortune 100 company from 2004-2014 where she built and subsequently led the company’s Ethics Office. She has also held faculty positions at the William Mitchell College of Law and the University of St. Thomas.

Edmond currently serves as a board member on the Penumbra Theatre board of directors in St. Paul, Minn. Formerly, she served on the board of overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award and as a cabinet member of the AARP Foundation Women's Leadership Circle.
