AARP® GO Terms of Use

Effective October 20, 2026 · Last updated October 20, 2026

Program Launch Date: December 15, 2026

1. Accepting these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ASI Travel, Inc. ("ASI Travel," "we," "us"). They govern the AARP GO Services described in Section 2.

The first time you sign in to AARP GO, we ask you to accept these Terms. You accept them when you select "I agree," "Join and Agree" or a similar button that presents them. If you browse AARP GO pages without signing in, these Terms apply to that browsing. If you do not agree, do not use AARP GO.

2. What these Terms cover

2.1 Definitions.

  • "AARP GO Website" means the AARP GO pages ASI Travel operates at aarp.org/travel.

  • "Partner Site" means a website, app or page operated by a booking partner (Expedia or arrivia) where travel is searched, booked, paid for or serviced as part of AARP GO.

  • "Partner Terms" means the terms and privacy notice a booking partner publishes for its Partner Site.

  • "AARP GO Services" means the services ASI Travel provides in connection with AARP GO: your AARP GO account, the AARP GO Loyalty Program (the "Program") and your Program account, ASI Travel content, ASI Travel emails, and ASI Travel's handling of your personal information.

2.2 Scope. These Terms govern your relationship with ASI Travel in connection with AARP GO. They apply to the AARP GO Services wherever we provide them, including on the AARP GO Website and on a Partner Site. They do not govern the booking services on a Partner Site.

2.3 Bookings are provided by our partners. Searching, booking, paying for, changing and canceling travel happen on Partner Sites operated by Expedia (hotels, flights, cars, packages, activities and cruises) and arrivia (cruises and guided vacations). You can also book by phone with Expedia's or arrivia's agents; the partner's Partner Terms govern those bookings too. Those services are provided by the partner under its Partner Terms, not by ASI Travel under these Terms. ASI Travel is not the merchant of record for bookings made on a Partner Site and is not an agent of Expedia or arrivia. You pay for travel to the booking partner or the travel supplier, not to ASI Travel.

When you use a Partner Site, both sets of terms may apply to different things at once. The Partner Terms govern the booking. These Terms continue to govern the AARP GO Services, such as your Program account and status.

2.4 AARP's website is separate. The AARP GO Website sits within the aarp.org domain, but AARP does not operate it. Your use of other parts of aarp.org, and your AARP membership, are governed by AARP's terms and policies.

2.5 Seller of travel registration. ASI Travel is registered as a seller of travel where required. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California. Registration as a seller of travel does not make ASI Travel the merchant of record for, or a reseller of, the travel services offered on Partner Sites.

3. Other terms that apply

3.1 Other documents. These documents also apply:

  • if you join the Program, the AARP GO Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions ("Program Terms") and the terms of any promotion you take part in, which are part of these Terms. If you don't join, the Annual Cruise Credit provisions of the Program Terms still apply to the Annual Cruise Credits you receive; and

  • the AARP GO Privacy Policy (including its Appendix, the Notice of Financial Incentive) and our Accessibility Statement, which are notices that explain how we handle your information and how AARP GO works. They are not part of this agreement.

3.2 Your personal information. ASI Travel is responsible for the personal information it collects and uses to provide the AARP GO Services, including information it receives from a Partner Site for those services, as described in the Privacy Policy. Each booking partner is separately responsible for the personal information it collects and uses to provide its booking services, as described in its Partner Terms.

3.3 If documents conflict. For Program matters, the Program Terms control over these Terms. A promotion's terms control over the Program Terms for that promotion. For how we handle personal information, including Program information, the Privacy Policy controls. The Notice of Financial Incentive describes the Program and its promotions as financial incentives; it does not change the Program Terms. If using a privacy right ends your Program participation (for example, deleting your Program information), the Program Terms say what happens to your rewards.

4. Who can use AARP GO

AARP GO is for people 18 or older in the United States, including the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. Some features, including member pricing and the Program, are available only to signed-in AARP members who meet the eligibility rules in the Program Terms. You need an active AARP membership to book through AARP GO and to earn and redeem Program rewards.

5. Your account and signing in

You sign in to AARP GO with your AARP.org account. Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at 1-888-687-2277 if you think someone has used it without permission. Each AARP member needs their own AARP.org account; members of the same household earn separately.

Signing in does not enroll you in the Program or sign you up for marketing. You join the Program only by selecting "Join and Agree" (Section 7). You get marketing only if you choose it (Section 12).

6. ASI Travel, AARP and our partners

ASI Travel, Inc. is a for-profit company and a subsidiary of AARP Services, Inc. It is a separate company from AARP. AARP licenses its name and some content to ASI Travel and hosts the AARP GO Website, but AARP does not operate AARP GO and is not a party to these Terms. AARP receives a royalty from ASI Travel for the use of AARP's intellectual property. Amounts paid to AARP are used for AARP's general purposes.

Expedia and arrivia are independent companies that provide booking services on their Partner Sites. They are not agents of ASI Travel or AARP.

7. The AARP GO Loyalty Program

7.1 Program Terms govern. The Program is an AARP GO Service provided by ASI Travel. The Program Terms and the terms of any promotion apply to your participation wherever it happens, including where your balance, tier or earning is shown on a Partner Site. The Notice of Financial Incentive describes the Program's incentives.

7.2 Joining is optional. You join by selecting "Join and Agree" after reviewing the Program Terms, these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Notice of Financial Incentive. You can withdraw at any time, with the consequences described in the Program Terms.

7.3 When rewards can be used. The Program launches on December 15, 2026. GO Travel Cash can be redeemed starting March 31, 2027. Promotions offered before launch, such as the Early Enrollment Promotion, take effect as described in their terms. A promotional tier is a minimum tier for the period its terms state: it does not stop you moving to a higher tier, and changes to these Terms or the Program Terms will not reduce it during that period. GO Travel Cash is a Program reward, not money. It has no cash value and can be used only as the Program Terms allow. GO Cruise Credits also have no cash value. The Annual Cruise Credits AARP members receive whether or not they join are governed by the Annual Cruise Credit provisions of the Program Terms.

8. Travel bookings and travel suppliers

Expedia, arrivia and the travel suppliers they work with (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators) handle all searches, prices, availability, reservations, payments, changes, cancellations and refunds under their own terms, except what happens to Program rewards when a booking is changed or cancelled, which the Program Terms govern. ASI Travel does not control and is not responsible for their acts or omissions, including cancellations, schedule changes, service quality or the accuracy of supplier information.

You are responsible for meeting the requirements for your trip, including passport, visa, health and entry rules. Any travel insurance offered with a booking is offered by a third-party insurer under its own terms.

9. Travel content

Articles, trip ideas, destination guides and other content on AARP GO are for general information. They are not professional, medical, safety, financial or legal advice, and may not reflect current conditions. Check details before you travel. Some content is licensed from AARP or provided by others.

10. Deals, offers and pricing

Deals and offers are subject to availability and to the terms stated in the offer, and may change or end before you book. The price and terms shown on the Partner Site when you book are the ones that apply. If an offer on the AARP GO Website differs from what the Partner Site shows at booking, the Partner Site controls. Some prices and savings are shown only to signed-in members.

11. Personalization

We may personalize content and offers on AARP GO as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Emails and other communications

12.1 Service messages. We send messages about your account, the Program, and changes to these Terms. These are not marketing, and you can't opt out of them while you have an account.

12.2 Marketing. You get AARP GO marketing emails only if you choose them, in a separate choice that is not pre-selected. Joining the Program does not sign you up. Our partners Expedia and arrivia send some AARP GO marketing emails for us. One unsubscribe, from any AARP GO email or your account, stops all AARP GO marketing emails, including those partners send for us, within 10 business days.

13. Our content and your license to use AARP GO

AARP GO and its content, design and software belong to ASI Travel or its licensors, including AARP, and are protected by intellectual property laws. "AARP" and related marks are AARP's trademarks, used by ASI Travel under license.

We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use AARP GO for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, scrape or make derivative works from AARP GO content except as these Terms allow or we approve in writing. You may not use bots, crawlers or scrapers on AARP GO, or use its content to train, fine-tune or ground an AI model, without our written permission.

14. What you send us

14.1 Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions or survey answers about AARP GO ("Feedback"), we may use them to improve AARP GO without paying you or crediting you. Feedback does not include your personal information, which we handle under the Privacy Policy.

15. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AARP GO to:

  • break the law or violate anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;

  • post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful or deceptive, or that impersonates anyone;

  • upload malicious code, or probe, test or get around AARP GO's security;

  • interfere with AARP GO or put an unreasonable load on it;

  • use automated tools in breach of Section 13;

  • collect information about other users; or

  • earn or redeem Program rewards through fraud, resale, or by booking for others in exchange for payment.

We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, reverse rewards, or suspend or end access. Our hosting provider may also remove content as the law allows, including under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

16. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on AARP GO infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) to our designated agent:

ASI Travel, Inc.

601 E Street, NW

Washington, DC  20049

Attention: ASI Travel President

1-888-687-2277

We may remove the material and will end the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate cases. If your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(g).

17. Other websites and services

AARP GO links to and works with sites and services run by others, including Partner Sites, travel suppliers and AARP.org. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to them. We don't endorse and aren't responsible for them, except as these Terms say about the AARP GO Services.

18. Changes to AARP GO

We may change, suspend or end any part of AARP GO, including features, content and offers. We don't promise AARP GO will always be available or error-free. Changes to the Program are governed by the Program Terms.

19. Ending your use

You can stop using AARP GO at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering AARP GO. What happens to your Program account and rewards is governed by the Program Terms. Your Program account may also close if AARP tells us it can no longer confirm your membership, or that we may no longer use AARP's information about you, as the Program Terms describe. Sections 13–16 and 20–25 continue after your use ends.

20. Disclaimers

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, AARP GO AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ASI TRAVEL DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF CONTENT, PRICES OR AVAILABILITY, OR ANY TRAVEL SERVICE PROVIDED BY A BOOKING PARTNER OR SUPPLIER. SOME STATES DON'T ALLOW THESE DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

21. Limits on our liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS: (A) ASI TRAVEL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND LICENSORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM AARP GO OR THESE TERMS; AND (B) ASI TRAVEL'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED US$500 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ASI TRAVEL IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THESE LIMITS DON'T APPLY WHERE THE LAW DOESN'T ALLOW THEM.

The fact that these Terms apply to the AARP GO Services on a Partner Site does not make ASI Travel responsible for the booking services provided there.

22. Indemnity

You agree to cover ASI Travel and its officers, directors, employees and agents for claims, damages and reasonable legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of law or someone else's rights, except to the extent ASI Travel caused them.

23. Resolving disputes

23.1 Talk to us first. Before filing a claim, contact us at 1-888-687-2277 and give us 60 days to try to resolve it.

23.2 Claims may be brought in the state or federal courts in the District of Columbia, or in small claims court where you live.

23.3 Governing law. Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This does not take away consumer protections of your state that can't be waived.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will tell you in advance by email (if you are a Program member) and when you next sign in, and show the new effective date. Material changes apply to you when you accept them or, if earlier, 30 days after we notify you. Changes don't apply to disputes that arose before them. We will not use your Program information in a materially different way without your consent. If you don't agree, stop using AARP GO and, if you are a Program member, withdraw from the Program.

25. General

These Terms and the documents that Section 3.1 makes part of them are the whole agreement between you and ASI Travel about the AARP GO Services. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You can't transfer these Terms; we may transfer them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or to an affiliate. We aren't liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. We may send you notices by email or on AARP GO.
