The Digital Technology and Operations (DTO) team is excited to introduce a new capability designed to enhance how we manage, distribute, and promote video content across the AARP digital ecosystem.
As part of this soft launch, authors now have the ability to create Video Content Fragments specifically for Brightcove-hosted video content. This new functionality streamlines the process of structuring and organizing video assets, making them more accessible, reusable, and easier to manage within our content framework.
In addition, newly created video content fragments are now housed within the Videos Value Library Repository. This centralized repository serves as a single source of truth for video content, enabling teams to efficiently discover and leverage approved video assets across various channels.
A key benefit of this capability is its integration with our dynamic AI models, which allows content from the Videos Value Library Repository to be intelligently surfaced and promoted across AARP websites. This ensures that relevant video content can be delivered to the right audiences at the right time, helping to improve engagement and create a more personalized user experience.
With this new capability, teams can:
Please note that this is a soft launch, and access to the Videos Value Library will be rolled out in phases. We are continuing to refine the experience and welcome feedback as we expand availability.
If you are interested in adding your video content to the Value Library or would like to learn more, please reach out to Jill Kadish (jkadish@aarp.org) for additional information and guidance.
