We are excited to announce that AEM Authors can now use the Reusable Button Component to display PDF documents directly on their pages.

As demonstrated during last week's session, this new functionality provides an additional and more visually engaging option for linking and displaying PDF content within AEM.

Why This Enhancement Matters

This new capability offers several benefits for authors and site visitors:

  • More CTA Options – Authors now have an alternative to using a text component when linking to PDF documents.
  • Greater Design Flexibility – Buttons provide additional layout and design possibilities, allowing authors to create more engaging page experiences.
  • Improved Mobile Experience – Buttons are larger, more prominent, and easier for users to identify and select on mobile devices.

Getting Started

No additional setup or configuration is required to take advantage of this enhancement.
