We’re excited to share a powerful new enhancement introduced with the deployment of Sprint Three! Authors can now add a Rel Attribute directly within the Text component when creating links—no HTML coding required.

This update was designed to make link management simpler, more flexible, and more accessible for all Authors. It was originally developed to support a common and important use case: adding the appropriate Rel Attribute to Sponsorship links. However, its value goes well beyond that initial need.

With this new capability, Authors can now apply any Rel Attribute to links created within the Text component, giving you greater control over link behavior, compliance, and SEO best practices—all through an intuitive, user-friendly field. This eliminates the need to manually enter HTML, reducing errors and streamlining the authoring experience.

We’re thrilled to roll out this improvement and look forward to seeing how it helps Authors work more efficiently while maintaining greater consistency and flexibility across content. As always, thank you for your continued feedback—it helps drive enhancements like this one!
