DTO is excited to announce the launch of the Reusable Foundations (RF) Title Component (PW: resuablefoundation101)—a flexible, modern solution designed to simplify how authors manage headings across RF templates.
This new component builds on the functionality many authors already know from its UXDIA counterpart, while introducing a key enhancement that improves both usability and SEO. The RF Title Component can be used as a title or heading for a wide variety of content sections and is supported in the RF Blank template, with availability coming soon to the RF Article templates.
Designed for Flexibility and Consistency
As with previous implementations, template authors can define which heading (H) values are available through the component dialog, ensuring consistency across templates and pages. Authors can then easily apply the appropriate heading level for their content—whether it’s a page title, section header, or subsection label.
What sets this version apart is the added flexibility it gives authors without sacrificing best practices.
What’s New: Font Size Overrides for Headings
The RF Title Component introduces a significant improvement: the ability to decouple semantic heading levels from visual styling.
A new option—Font Size (Default Override)—is now available in the Styles tab. This allows authors to override the default font size associated with a heading level.
