AEM Upgrade: Production Go-Live Planned for May 18

As part of the ongoing AEM Upgrade project, a new upgraded production environment—including both Author and Publish instances—has been successfully set up. Testing is currently underway, and pending successful QA validation, the upgraded production environment is scheduled to go live on Monday, May 18.

What You Need to Know

To ensure a smooth transition, please review the following important details and plan accordingly:

Content Freeze Period

A content freeze will be in effect from Friday, May 15 at 5:00 PM ET through Monday, May 18 at 4:00 PM ET.

• During this time, authors should not make any content changes.
• If an urgent update is required, please contactDonovan Fox (dfox@aarp.org) or Rohit Rastogi (rrastogi@aarp.org). Limited support may be available, but dual authoring will be required.

Content Updates and Migration

• Any content changes made in the current production environment over the next two weeks will be migrated to the new upgraded environment prior to go-live.
• Please note that content version history will not be migrated as part of this process.
