AARP Foundation Housing Solutions Center Discontinued

AARP Foundation closed the Housing Solutions Center on January 2, 2018. Now that the housing market has improved, AARP Foundation has shifted its focus to developing solutions that help low-income older adults age in place and have access to affordable, livable and healthy housing.

If you are having trouble paying your mortgage and need assistance to avoid foreclosure, please visit the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for a list of HUD-approved housing counseling agencies in your area. You can also find a housing counselor by calling HUD’s toll-free hotline at 800-569-4287.
