My daughter is a minor and will not be working. So if my earnings exceed the allowed earned income while collecting benefits, my minor daughter's benefit would be reduced as well?

Your earnings can cause benefits your child receives to be reduced by the Retirement Earnings test.  Any reductions in benefits caused by the earnings limit will be distributed evenly among your benefit and the other benefits being received on your record.
