Lane Community College, in partnership with Goodwill Industries, Enterprise Contact Center, Royal Caribbean Ltd, and Lane Workforce Partnership, is currently seeking applicants for a reservations sales position training program starting in the Fall. The AARP Foundation provided a grant to train future call center representatives.

Lane Community College's reservations sales training prepares people age 50+ for employment with Enterprise Contact Center and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. or other local employers in the reservation sales/call center industry. This eight-week training provides participants with industry-recognized skills for becoming telephone reservation sales representatives. The skills learned through this training will be transportable to any call center company, as well as hundreds of clerical and customer service occupations.
If you are selected to participate; you will be provided with the training, textbooks, and classroom materials. Enterprise Contact Center, Royal Caribbean, Ltd., and other participating employers commit to interview all participants who successfully complete the training, meet employer minimum qualifications, and are available for full-time work. The training program is free of charge.
Training will take place at the Worksource Lane on the Lane Community College Campus from Sept. 25-Nov. 16. To be eligible for the program, you must: be 50 years of age or older; be registered with WorkSource Lane and have completed Debrief; be registered with LCC (have an L number); be unemployed, underemployed, or low income; have a high school diploma or GED, Demonstrate 35 wpm minimum typing speed and have good computer skills; and, have earned a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
