Celeste Mergens, an AARP Purpose Prize winner, founded Days for Girls International, a nonprofit that has created access to washable and sustainable feminine hygiene products for more than 1 million women and girls worldwide. “When I started, I had no idea this was going to be a movement. I thought I was simply meeting the needs of these girls,” Mergens says in this week’s episode of Spinoffs.
