Denver-based Frontier has launched new service between the beachside resort town Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, and Cleveland, St. Louis, Mo., and Cincinnati. It also now has twice-weekly service from Burlington, Vermont, to Orlando, Fla., and a new route between Philadelphia and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Spirit is another option for Jamaica-bound travelers. The carrier now offers flights to Montego Bay and Kingston from Orlando, Fla., with connections available across the country. Starting in May, Spirit will also add to its Myrtle Beach, S.C., service with new nonstop routes from Indianapolis three times weekly and from Houston and Kansas City twice a week.
Headed to Florida? Allegiant recently launched twice-a-week routes from Asheville, N.C., and Baltimore to Sarasota. And starting next month, you’ll also be able to get to the Gulf Coast city on flights from Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and more. (Allegiant’s existing Florida destinations include Jacksonville, Destin, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale.)
