Keeping Social Security sound is a top priority for AARP Oklahoma. Oklahomans work hard every day, year after year, paying into Social Security and counting on those hard-earned dollars to be there when they retire. However, without Congressional action, Social Security checks could be cut by $4,000 a year. That’s money Oklahomans are owed and money that one-third of our older neighbors depend on just to get by.
