AARP Bulletin, December 2009
Route 66 artist Bob Waldmire helped shape our collective memory of America's Highway. Through his art--mostly postcards, pamphlets and posters--Bob shared his love of the open road, nature and wildlife.
Knowing he had cancer and that his health was in decline, Bob staged one last art show at the Cozy Dog Drive In on Route 66. Friends, family and admirers gathered to celebrate Bob's life and his art.
