NEW AIRPORT rules mean you may not want to pay for TSA PreCheck. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has ended the policy requiring shoe removal at airport security. With PreCheck, shoes could always be kept on. So now you may need that service to skip the main security line only if:
● You struggle with long periods of standing.
● Long lines cause undue stress or anxiety.
● Forgetfulness is an issue. Items taken out of a bag at security can get lost, says Sally French, a travel spokesperson at NerdWallet. —Berit Thorkelson
