AARP Illinois Voter Van Tour Hits the Road

Do you know what’s at stake this election season?

Get the facts before you cast your ballot.

As we gear up for statewide and mid-term federal elections Nov. 2, AARP Illinois will be taking its show on the road with the 2010 Voter Van Tour. There is a lot at stake for Illinoisans in this election – and we want to make sure that voters have the information they need for the crucial decisions they will have to make at the polls. Our van tour will be bringing that information to citizens across the state, so they know where the candidates stand on important issues.

This is a critical election year. Issues such as Social Security, Medicare, the federal deficit, and the economy are top-of-mind for people across Illinois. AARP has asked the candidates their positions on these issues and has developed voter guides that include the candidates’ responses. These voter guides will be available online and at all of the Voter Van Tour stops.

Find more information online or stop by one of the Voter Van Tour sites listed below. You may also call AARP Illinois at 1-866-448-3613 for more information about the Voter Van Tour.
