AARP Encourages Chicagoans to Vote

Feb. 22 is Election Day in Chicago. With the retirement of current Mayor, Richard M. Daley, Chicagoans will be voting for a new Mayor for the first time in over 20 years. AARP is encouraging all voters in Chicago to find out where the Mayoral candidates stand on important issues and get out and vote on Feb. 22.

City and local governments have a major impact on the communities where we all live and work. That is why it is so important that individuals stay informed and make their voices heard on critical community issues. Voting is one of the most effective ways to influence your community, so please get out and vote on Feb. 22.

Do you know where the candidates stand?
