Anghiari Lace

Resurrecting an Italian town

In the Tuscan town of Anghiari, Italy, the successful commercial production of cloth and lace started at the end of the 1700s with people weaving wool form sheep grazing near their homes.  It is a custom that has remained strong with its denizens.
