En español | America's military veterans have served our country in battle during two world wars, and in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and other places near and far.

They did their part. Many are still doing their part. On Veterans Day, it's our turn to honor and serve them.

The state-of-the-art Fort Belvoir center opened its doors on Feb. 5, 2013.

Through the support of AARP members, last year’s donation of $169,000 helped construct the new USO Warrior and Family Care Center in Fort Belvoir, Va. The center, open to all active duty military, including National Guard and reserves, and their families, is the largest USO center ever constructed at 25,000 square feet.

This state-of-the-art facility provides signature USO programs and events for military families, junior enlisted and single service members, as well as robust programming for the wounded, ill and injured and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
