Donya Currie - 1/01/2012

AARP Pennsylvania is working with public broadcasting station WVIA to bring AARP programming to 22 counties in the northeastern and central parts of the state.

The AARP-produced programs Inside E Street and My Generation air Sunday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. on WVIA. In two counties the station serves, Lacka wanna and Luzerne, the percentage of population age 65-plus exceeds state and national averages.

Inside E Street takes a nonpartisan look at financial and health issues, and the Daytime Emmy-nominated My Generation features people who are making a difference while pursuing their passions.
