Embedley Component

Component Name:  Embedly 

About:  This component allows an author to add in a youtube video without needing HTML code. However, our main video provider is Brightcove and that is what you should use. Embedly doesn't allow us to add pre-roll or track very well like we can with Brightcove videos. The use of this component for Video should be an exception.  

This component also allows an author to embed a twitter post, an instagram or a facebook post. Simply put in the url of the post. It is a single post. It cannot be customized, what you see if what you get. 

The component can be used on

It works in Article template in the following size:

• Body of Article (75%) 
• Right rail of Article 
• 100% article body 

It works in Landing/Refresh template in the following size:

• Full Page Width
• 3 Equal Size in any of the three
• 2 Equal Size - either size
• 75-25% Size - 75 and 25 size
• Right Rail by Topic Feed
• Example of Refresh Page

NOTES

• This component we have no tracking on so if you add a video you have to note the tracking. 
• If you want to add a YouTube video it MUST be approved by the advertisement team and AE. Brightcove videos are the only approve player type for the site. We make exceptions on a rare occasion only! 
• Component allows you to post one twitter post, one instagram post, one facebook post, etc. Again no tracking is known at this time. 
• We cannot remove the Powered by or custom links in the component
