Paul Giannone, known to many as Paulie Gee, was an information technology professional who, at 56, traded in the keyboard and mouse for some dough, fresh toppings — and happiness — by opening a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Giannone’s sons were his biggest supporters, helpers and taste testers. Their dad’s inspirational example now serves as a key ingredient in their own lives. Paulie Gee was the subject of March 2012’s Your Life Calling with Jane Pauley segment.
