Sir Edmund Hillary scaled Mt. Everest and John Glenn orbited the Earth—without a doubt these men were some of the greatest explorers of all time. But as My Generation explains, the world of passionate pioneering has more than just a man's face.
Milbry Polk has always been passionate about exploration. She’s the co-author of Women of Discovery, a book that chronicles the largely untold adventures of women explorers. She’s also founder of WINGS Worldquest, a non-profit organization that showcases, archives and awards the accomplishments of female quest-seekers. Milbry has inspired countless women, now she shares her journeys with us.
