The dark arts of mathematical deception.

"Proofiness", says mathematician-turned-journalist, Charles Seife, is the growing practice of using fake numbers to prove a lie. And it's being employed increasingly to mislead all of us—to convince us that what is, in fact isn't, by using math to make us believe untruths.  It's a thought-provoking concept, explained in this conversation with Prime Time Radio host Mike Cuthbert.
