File Your Taxes Hassle Free

It's tax time and AARP Tax-Aide volunteers across South Dakota are ready to help you file your 2010 federal tax return. AARP Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest, free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service. It is available to taxpayers with low and moderate-incomes with special attention given to individuals 60 and older. However, you do not need to be a certain age, or an AARP member to utilize AARP Tax-Aide preparation services.

Tax-Aide volunteers are IRS trained to assist with filing the 1040 Form and the more standard of the schedules, including Schedules A and B. Electronic filing (e-filing) is offered at most sites, with no charge to the taxpayer. E-filing ensures more accurate tax returns and faster processing of tax refunds.

Assistance is offered at the following South Dakota Locations. Tax preparation assistance is available now through April 15 at most sites. Hours vary by site and appointments are recommended to ensure volunteers are able to assist you in a timely fashion.
