Saving on Shaving

Feeling scalped by the high cost of shaving? Here are some ways to keep your razor blades sharp and longer-lasting:

  • Dry them with a paper towel or a blow dryer—or just shake off excess water. Why? Water on the blades causes microscopic rusting and jagged surfaces, increasing the risk of nicks.
  • Keep blades outside a humid bathroom or inside a resealable plastic bag.
  • Use moisturizer on your whiskers before shaving.
