Livable Communities: Inspiring Ideas & Solutions
Tell Us About Where You Live
The AARP book series Where We Live: Communities for All Ages features hundreds of ways our nation's local leaders are making their towns and cities more livable for people of all ages.
Should your community be featured, too? If so, let us know what project, program or place makes your city, town or neighborhood — or one you work in, have visited or know about — especially livable and age-friendly.
For instance, did your community open a new park? Or maybe local leaders made a street more pedestrian-friendly, hosted a fun event, or created a program that helps families, workers, businesses, older adults, people in need? The effort can be led by a mayor, a county or city manager, an agency, organization, community leader, resident, or you!
We want to celebrate and share livability work and best practices of all kinds and sizes so more communities can be livable for people of all ages.
Your community could be included in a future edition of Where We Live or on the AARP Livable Communities website and in our free, award-winning e-newsletter. (Sign up at AARP.org/livable-subscribe.) We unfortunately cannot respond individually to each submission. But we will let you know if we want to use or follow-up on your suggestion.
A NOTE OF ADVICE: Since online forms can be temperamental, please compose and save your submission text outside of this form and then paste the text into the boxes accordingly. After clicking the Submit button, you will be redirected to a Thank You page. If you receive an error message instead, please email your submission to Livable@AARP.org. We appreciate your interest!
