A trade association for the home construction industry, the NAHB administers the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) program and its website contains consumer-oriented homeownership and home remodeling information.

American Occupational Therapy Association

Although the AOTA is a professional association for occupational therapists, assistants and students, the website's "Patients and Clients" section contains information for consumers.
