The Falcon Heights community created an accessible outdoor space dedicated to peace, justice and racial healing in honor of resident Philando Castile. AARP Community Challenge funds were used for the planning and site preparation, which allowed for the subsequent installation of landscaping, benches, walkways, lighting and art. The Philando Castile Peace Garden is intended to be a place of reflection, reconciliation, change and hope.
