FYI: The Cost of Prescription Drugs: Who Needs Help?

In this FYI, Normandy Brangan and Mary Jo Gibson of AARP's Public Policy Institute present data on out-of-pocket spending on prescription drugs by poor and low-income beneficiaries, as well as by beneficiaries with modest incomes, such as those with incomes between 175% and 250% of the federal poverty level. It also shows differences in out-of-pocket drug spending between beneficiaries with and without drug coverage. (2 pages)
