Looking for a meaningful volunteer project? AARP Oregon has ways to give back all over the state.
In Oregon, we are building a network of volunteers to focus on alleviating hunger, especially senior hunger, in support of Drive to End Hunger, an initiative by AARP and AARP Foundation traise awareness of the issue of senior hunger. AARP Oregon needs volunteer organizers in every corner of our state to coordinate local activities including special events and food drives to help fill the empty pantries of our state’s food banks. Whether you have 5 minutes, 5 hours or 5 days to volunteer, we need YOUR help! If you are interested, email us at email@example.com.
Money Management Program
If you can balance your own checkbook, you can help someone with theirs. The AARP Oregon Money Management Program provides financial management assistance to help low-income older or disabled adults who have difficulty budgeting, paying routine bills and keeping track of financial matters.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers receive free tax training and are reimbursed on a limited basis for qualified program-related expenses. They help taxpayers at sites around the state, learning new skills while giving back to countless communities.
