Meals on Wheels delivers more than just nutritious food to its many clients across the country. Its representatives are often the only social contact for isolated seniors.
Now Meals on Wheels is facing cutbacks that directly affect some of the nation's neediest citizens.
Two of the national leaders of the organization, Enid Borden and Peggy Ingraham, join host Mike Cuthbert to talk about the changes that the economic downturn is forcing on their organization. Listen to their report from the front lines.
