Staying Fit
Netflix is marching into spring with a promising mix of the old and the new. The streaming giant is hoping to spark a Suits-like revival of the delightful 2010s series White Collar, starring Matt Bomer as a charming con artist tapped to work for the FBI. And speaking of charming grifters, Patricia Highsmith’s irresistible (but deadly) grifter Tom Ripley is getting a new limited series, starring Andrew Scott and shot in luscious black and white.
Magic for Humans star Justin Willman returns for a new prank series; Cate Blanchett narrates a nature docuseries full of imagery that would make David Attenborough salivate; and Rufus Sewell plays Prince Andrew in a series that places the embattled royal on the literal hot seat, opposite a BBC journalist ready to blow up his carefully manicured public image.

Sex and the City (Seasons 1-6)
Who says giant corporate streaming services can’t play nice? The iconic HBO series about 30-something besties in turn-of-the-millennium Manhattan strides to Netflix on its stylish Manolo Blahniks (the comedy will still be streaming on Max). It’s a great chance to catch up with Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw and all her tutu-wearing foibles in search of Mr. Right (or, in her case, Mr. Big).

The Magic Prank Show With Justin Willman (Season 1)
Comic trickster Justin Willman, who starred in Netflix’s Magic for Humans for three seasons, returns with a new series in which he stages elaborate pranks on regular folks – at the suggestion of their friends and loved ones. It looks like a canny blend of Candid Camera, Punk’d, and The Jerry Springer Show.

White Collar (2009-2014)
Last year, Netflix subscribers (re)discovered the zippy old USA Network series Suits and turned it into a huge streaming hit (with an L.A.-set spin-off show now in the works at NBC). Will lightning strike again for this USA gem, starring Matt Bomer as a gentlemanly con artist who agrees to help the FBI’s White Collar Crime unit to escape prison? The show, which ran for six seasons, boasted the debonair charm of classic caper movies, with Bomer as a twinkly-eyed Cary Grant for a new generation.
