John Krasinski lends his everyman acting charms to CIA analyst Jack Ryan in Amazon’s new eight-part TV drama Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (premiering Aug. 31).

“Clancy’s books were so rich and detailed that TV may be a more well-suited medium for Jack Ryan,” Krasinski says. “We’re able to dive into more of his world and show the intricacies of how his brain works.”
