With an endless supply of new products and services flooding the market, it's hard to determine which beauty boosters to use — and when to use them. Here's what to do in your 70s:
Make super-hydrating a habit for skin and hair
Hi-tech in-shower combination body wash/moisturizers, 10-minute facial masks and overnight treatments for complexion and hair plump up lines and turn coarse, damaged or frizz-prone locks silky smooth.
Get manicures and pedicures year-round
Stay peep-toe and sandal worthy, or just enjoy tidy, groomed nails as part of your look-good, feel-fab attitude.
Go brighter in lipstick
Take nudes and neutral lipsticks up a notch with rosier, tawny shades or a full-tilt red, pink, berry or coral to play up newly whitened teeth. Moisturizing mattes won't bleed, cake or crack, and sheer high-pigment colors boost lip shape and define a still-dazzling smile.
Tousle your hair, and soften up
Keep hair loose and moving, whatever your style — textured edges, feathery bangs, a few long layers, piecey bits around the ears and nape, or a side part. Styling products should leave hair looking and feeling bouncy and touchable.
