More than 50 years after its release, the Oscar-winning epic Bridge on the River Kwai has been reborn with a meticulous restoration for home video. Geoffrey Horne—the only surviving star of a film that featured William Holden and Oscar-winner Alec Guinness—recalls his six months of filming in the jungle, waiting a day at a time for legendary director David Lean to get just the right shot.
