It's been a crazy time for “Crazy Heart” author and professor Thomas Cobb.
Cobb's 1987 novel, which was his first, was made a into film last year. The film received three Oscar nominations, winning two - Best Actor and Best Original Song - at the 82nd annual awards show.
Despite the showbiz accolades, Cobb is a man without a Hollywood-sized ego as independent producer Rhonda Miller reports. She recently spoke with Cobb about the movie and its success from his office at Rhode Island College.
