The last Harry Potter movie is in theaters and by now most of us muggles, or non-magical folk, recognize many of the words the books have added to our lexicon.

There’s parseltongue: the language of snakes. And Dementors: those dark shrouds that suck the positive out of you killing your soul. I bet some of us know someone like that in real life!  And who can forget the howler—that angry letter from a parent that screams at you when you open it?  Alyne has these thoughts on how the books and films have expanded our imaginations.
