This Is What Being Old Looks Like In Hollywood

Old people have long been used as a punchline in Hollywood. Aging is seen as a decline. Aging is seen as a burden.

But, in fact, perceptions in real life are changing. Aging is beginning to be viewed as a period of growth. Aging is increasingly seen as a time of new opportunities, and “old,” in fact, can be a fulfilling chapter in life, where older people are contributors and respected leaders.
