Longwood Gardens’ Virtual Tour Shows Off Winter Wonderland

Captivating grounds shift with every season

After the festive fanfare of the “A Longwood Christmas” display, Longwood Gardens — one of the most visited gardens in America — undergoes a magical winter transformation, with captivating color, texture and ever-changing surprises for the season. Timothy Gould and Matthew Thomas of Longwood’s continuing education department will share highlights of Longwood’s Winter Wonder season with a virtual photo tour of the outdoor and indoor gardens.

Erin Feeney, Longwood’s associate director of landscape architecture and program design, will also talk about what it takes to create and steward Longwood’s seasonal displays. Leave our session with an appreciation for the stunning scenes and landscapes of the winter season, and perhaps some inspiration to add winter interest to your own garden.
