Remember when turning 65 meant automatic retirement? Not anymore. Many boomers actually retire, or change careers, at an earlier age, while others are choosing — for financial reasons or simply because they still enjoy working — to continue in the workplace well past that milestone.
Financial expert Carol Bogosian talks about how the generation is approaching retirement, including the growing trend toward "working in retirement," the increasing resistance to retirement and the many ways boomers are redefining the concept of the golden years.
