In order to find out how much your ex-spouse benefit would be, contact the Social Security Administration. You will not have to provide your ex-spouse's Social Security number, but you must have your marriage license and divorce decree. Your ex-spouse does not have to have claimed yet in order for you to receive benefits but he does have to be at least age 62.
