AARP's Social Security Q&A Tool

How can I get an estimation of how much I will collect when I retire?

En español | The Social Security Statement provides information about your earnings history and estimates of your Social Security benefits.  You can get your statement online at www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount/. Paper statements are mailed to people who are 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and over 60 who do not receive benefits and have not set up an online account with Social Security.  You can get estimates of your retirement benefit by using the Web-based Retirement Estimator at https://www.socialsecurity.gov/retire/estimator.html.
