Additional Policies and Practices:

Workplace Culture / Continued Opportunities: Employees working 20 or more hours per week are offered the following learning and development programs: tuition reimbursement, in-house classroom training, online training and certification classes.

Long-service anniversaries are celebrated with announcements, parties and awards.

Employees have opportunities to gain new experiences by working on temporary assignments in other departments, on team projects and by participating in a formal job rotation program.

The corporation has an Ergonomics Program that offers employees an assessment of their workplace to ensure their desks, chairs and work environment are ergonomically efficient. Potential ergonomic hazards are minimized or eliminated by changing jobs, workstations, tools or the environment to fit the employee's needs.

Benefits/Health: Employees working 20 or more hours per week receive individual and family medical coverage, prescription drug coverage and dental insurance, as well as short- and long-term disability.

Health benefits for retirees include individual and spouse medical and drug coverage, dental insurance, the services of an employee assistance program (EAP), as well as individual life insurance or other death benefit coverage.

All of the above health benefits are available to new hires upon retirement.

Retirees are also offered a wellness and health education program that includes support for individuals with diseases such as asthma, diabetes and coronary artery disease. Retirees are also offered a health coach and a 24-hour nurse help line.

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) are available to assist in covering out-of-pocket health care costs.
