Benefits/Financial: Employees working 20 or more hours per week are offered a 401(k) plan with employer match as well as stock options, profit sharing or a similar plan. All new hires and all employees are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) plan, employees may choose to invest in lifecycle funds that automatically re-allocate assets based on age or proximity to retirement, and employees age 50 and over can make catch-up contributions to their plan.

Employees are offered financial education from the staff of the financial services firm that administers their savings plan.

Short- and long-term leaves of absence without pay are offered to allow for caregiving. In addition, the company sponsors a special 'time-off' bank funded by member donations of vacation time.

Full- and part-time employees are offered wellness benefits such as flu shots, health screenings, health risk appraisals, smoking cessation programs, and physical activity and weight loss programs.

Stanley Consultants offers employees dependent care benefits such as on-site elder care, and referral services to assist with childcare, grandchild care and elder care.

Benefits/Alternative Work Arrangements: Full-time employees working 40 hours per week can participate in compressed work schedules while all employees can participate in flextime and a formal phased retirement program. Stanley Consultants' phased retirement program is customized to each employee, allowing optimal flexibility. Full-time employees are eligible to move to part-time work on a permanent or temporary basis.  

Opportunities for Retirees: Stanley Consultants has 151 retirees, and an individual directly responsible for retiree relations. The company stays connected to its retirees by communicating regularly, inviting retirees to organization events, by providing retirees with ongoing access to retirement planning workshops and information, and by formally acknowledging retirees upon retirement. Retirees are offered the following work opportunities: temporary work assignments, consulting or contract work, telecommuting, and part-time work.

Age of Workforce: Forty percent of Stanley Consultants' employees are age 50 and over. The average tenure of shoes employees is 12 years.
