Finally, respondents also suggested that the company develop a process in relation to redesigning job roles for flexibility. This is being reviewed.

In addition, each year, NAB supports Mental Health Week and has worked closely with Mental Health at Work, Beyond Blue and Lifeline to promote awareness and access to services
Diversity Promotion: Across the organization, NAB is increasing momentum on diversity, with a particular focus on gender and age, as well as greater work and career flexibility.
Development of a mature age (defined at NAB as 50 and over) offering that meets business and individual needs is a key priority within the Group Diversity Strategy. This offering is necessary to help NAB prepare for, and proactively address the issue of, rapidly shifting workforce composition, which creates business risk through the loss of key talent. NAB wishes to be an employer of choice with a distinct offering that sets it apart from our competitors.
As a first step towards addressing this need, the Group Diversity & Inclusion team developed MyFuture, a program designed to support and encourage older employees to plan their later working lives, extend their careers and transition to retirement. From September to December 2010 older employees and their managers from three business units participated in a pilot of MyFuture to test the support and resources required.
The seminars, tools, resources and messages tested throughout the pilot were proven to be highly valuable to participants, and NAB took a variety of actions as a result of the pilot.
MyFuture is soon to be an Australia wide offering, rolling out on a state by state (cross business) basis commencing in July 2011.
Recruitment: NAB's focus is to ensure older workers are able to fulfill their aspirations and goals. The company's commitment is to develop and maintain a diverse workforce at all levels, including senior management, which reflects the diversity of the customers it serves, and the communities in which it operates.
