After putting on some postretirement pounds and losing several friends from obesity-related complications, Marino now makes physical activity and good nutrition a daily routine. Staying healthy enables him to focus on his passion, which is helping children with neuro-development disorders. The Dan Marino Foundation raises money for research and therapy facilities, including a special wing at the Miami Children's Hospital.
