Looking for work? Four companies in the District of Columbia are among the first 120 nationwide which are posting job listings at a new AARP web site called Work Reimagined.
In the District of Columbia AARP, FINRA, Levy Restaurants (at Nationals Park), and Washington Nationals Baseball Club are currently represented there, and others will be added over time. These firms are looking for the strong work ethic, maturity, and customer orientation that experienced workers bring to their jobs.
The new jobs website created by AARP connects employers seeking experienced workers with qualified professionals searching for new or more satisfying careers by leveraging the platform of social media site, LinkedIn. It also offers job listings independent of LinkedIn, plus articles, columns, tips and tools to help people navigate today’s workplace.
AARP also has general information on home-based jobs, winter jobs, part-time jobs and more.
