Undertaken to assess public awareness of age discrimination in the workplace, among Utah residents age 40 and older, this random telephone survey found that three-quarters of the 806 people interviewed support revising the state's current age discrimination law to protect all employees, including those who work for an employer with fewer than 15 employees, and over a third would vote for a candidate who supports expanding the law.
