Opportunities for Retirees: Harvard’s 4,400 retirees benefit from the work of an employee who is directly responsible for maintaining retiree relations. The university also keeps in contact with retirees by inviting them to events, sending them subscriptions to Harvard's magazines, offering them continued access to retirement-planning information, and regularly communicating with the university's retiree association. Retirees are eligible for part-time, temporary, consulting, and telecommuting opportunities.
